Wall Oven Installation

Standard exchange: $185.00.  Includes free haul away of old wall oven.
New installation (no previous wall oven): Minimum $300.00.  Actual cost depends on gas, electrical and cabinet modifications.  Please call us to discuss prices

The above prices are for a standard wall oven exchange performed in one trip.  Standard means an installation that does not require modification or parts.  Exchange means to disconnect an existing wall oven and replace it with a new one.
A standard wall oven exchange is one in which the old wall oven can be taken out from cabinets without having to cut the oven or to modify the cabinet.  In addition, once the old wall oven is out, a standard installation means that cabinet, countertop, gas and/or electrical modifications are not necessary in order to install the new wall oven.

In our efforts to provide the best possible installation our technicians must sometime replaced old, worn parts and/or upgrade existing electrical cables, modify cabinetry, build shelves and custom trim kits.   Common modifications and alterations include, but are not limited to, the following: cut out old appliances; cut Formica, tile or granite countertops; convert natural gas settings to LP; re-route gas pipelines; run grounding wires; build support bases, order metal trim pieces and more.   Whereas modifications are generally optional, some must be performed to prevent personal or property damage and some are even mandated by local codes: "any additions, alterations, renovations or repairs to existing appliances shall meet the provisions for, and conform to the level of quality designed for, new construction". Although we are glad to perform any additional service to bring the appliance installation up to code, we cannot do so at standard exchange prices.  Parts, as well as gas electrical, plumbing, cabinet and countertop modification are not included in a standard exchange.  Modifications, alterations, upgrades and parts will be provided for an additional cost.

A cutout dimension is the empty cabinet or countertop cavity in which an appliance fits in.  Cutout dimension refer to the minimum and maximum opening size requirements.  The overall dimension is the measurement of an appliance from one end to the other, side to side and top to bottom. When cutting an opening for an appliance make sure that the cut out opening is not larger than the appliance’s overall dimension.
